  @Carl Woo hoo.  On order!  Been waiting patiently for a while.  No interest in switching platforms, more than a few KASA devices running.  All have been outstanding.  Can't wait to install it!

I'm loving mine so far. I don't like how it requires you to have a subscription to get cloud detection records but I have a 128GB surveillance (Samsung PRO Endurance) SD card in it. 

 

Quality is great. Love the video quality and person detection. Works really well.

I'm glad your happy with the product.  Cloud only cameras did offer a free account but it was very limited up to 2-days for 2 years. after which a paid subscription was required. To combat this, especially for the customers who did not want a subscription service we have mostly switched all new cameras to the 24/7 recording with local storage.  This way you don't have to pay a subcritpion if you don't want to but deffiantly can have more than 2-days of storage if you use a 128 GB memory card.  An additional benefit is that you don't have to rely on a internet connection to upload your clips.

  @Carl in the last two days, viewing the recorded video from the SD Card is almost unusable. 24/7 recording is enabled but watching it is close to impossible now. Sometimes it's working but most of the time is not. It just stuck on loading progress. Does the recent firmware update cause this problem watching recorded video from the the SD Card? Both of my Samsung 64GB and 128GB MicroSD are having the same problem.

Hi @Carl, yes but I even re-formatted it to make sure the SD card is not the problem. Eventually it still didn't work so I did a factory reset which kinda fix it. Intermittently, the issues still reoccurring and seems like maybe the last firmware upgrade cause the SD card viewing functionality was affected.

Thank you for the feedback.  I have added your feedback to a concern we are tracking on a few models where SD cards encounter issues at capacity.  This is the first feedback we have seen on the doorbell KD110.  We are currently in investigation so my hopes are to find and publish a resolution soon.

  @Carl recordings from SD Card are now becoming unwatchable if it's remaining capacity is less than 10%. It also affected the network connection of the device to my router. It keep on disconnecting.  If I re-format the SD card, I can view recordings from the card without any issues.
