Hi people,

I have a TL-WA7210N operating as AP Client Router. It does what is supposed to, but 15 minutes after rebooting it becomes impossible to access the WebGUI on 192.168.0.254.

I always have to power it off physically to reboot it. Anyone knows what might be the problem?

My internal network is 192.168.0.x, and my devices can successfully ping the WA7210N and a telnet from windows cmd to 192.168.0.254 port 80 also connects. So it is ultra weird that the WebGUI does not work. All the devices have IP assigned via DHCP from the WA7210N in the same range. This device does not have command line, so the WebGUI is the only option to interact with it :(

If telnet to port 80 and sending a GET HTTP requests shows the HTML code of the web UI, then the problem is with Windows and/or the browser. You could try setting the laptop/PC to a fixed IP address to find out whether the web browser does something weird. If this does not help, try another device (SmartPhone/tablet/laptop etc.).

It seems that the problem is not on the web browsers. Although it connects to port 80, I never get any response to the HTTP GET "enter enter". I have tried with several other computers and android phones and I can not access it. I´ve disabled the Win Firewall for testing, and same result.

I am connecting the WA7210N to the internet via a public wifi that has a portal with authentication. The first laptop that connects after the WA7210N reboot, needs to insert the username/pwd on that portal webpage. The WAN IP of the WA7210N changes to something in the range of 10.14.x.x, but during those 15 minutes I can still access it on 192.168.0.254.

So you use the WA7210 in AP Client Router mode to connect to the public WiFi, right? What are the settings for the LAN network of the WA7210? What IP do you use on your laptop (static/dynamic)?

I have these settings for the LAN:

All the laptops/mobile phones are in DHCP and getting addresses in this range. Just the wireless printer gets binding to 192.168.0.180:

Edit: It has passed 2 hours and the WebGUI still works. I've done a few periodical refreshes in between, always keeping the browser with it open.

So, does it work now?
