Hello

i have the problem that i am not able to connect 2 different NATS through VPN together. The VPN tunnel is etablisehed

and in my opinion the tunnel is working. Maybe it is a little Problem.. but acutally i wasted to much time until yet

... it is time to contact persons who are more intelligent than me..

Side A:

TLER6120-V2

Routers IP: 192.168.0.100

He is the VPN Server

Protocoll: L2TP with IPSEC

I also defined: Multi Nets Nat: Interface: WAN1 with 192.168.8.0/24

Configured User on Side A for the Client on Side B:

Username: Test

Local IP Adress: 192.168.0.51

IP Adress Pool: Defined with 192.168.8.10

Client Mode: Lan-Lan

Max Connections: 1

Remote Subnet: 192.168.8.0/24

Side B:

TLR600VPN

Routers IP: 192.168.8.2

He is the LAN/LAN Client

L2TP Client: RichHome

User: Test

Wan: Wan 1

Server IP: xxx.dynddns.com

Ip Encryption: encrypted

Remote Subnet: 192.168.0.0/24

Working Mode: NAT

I also defined: Multi Nets Nat: Interface: RichHome with 192.168.0.0/24

When i start the System with that configuration the tunnel will be establisehd

with following information:

Tunnel List:

Account Name: Test; Mode: Server; Tunnel: - - -; Local IP: 192.168.0.51; Remote IP: xx.xx.xx.xx (IP Assigned trough dyndns) ; Remote Local IP: 192.168.8.10

So the Problem:

In my Test confguration it is Possible to reach from Local Ip Adress (192.168.0.1) a Client in Routers A Network to the Web Configuration of Router B with the IP Adress: 192.168.8.10. Perfect.. this means for me.. that the tunnel is working and established. But it ist not possible to reach the router B with his assigned IP 192.168.8.2.

So iam not possible to reach all other IP Adresses which are a member of router B?

It seems to me that i have a routing Problem? But i dont now exactly... In my opinon it is also wrong to assign for Router A a Multi Nets Nat Lan for Adapter WAN1. Like Router B it should be also possible that i can choose a Adapter which choose the tunnel... or? Like example Interface: Test?

I also tried it with static Route at both sides..

Router A with 192.168.8.0 to Hop: 192.168.8.10

Router B with 192.168.0.0 to Hop: 192.168.0.51

But with no effect... Maybe somebody can help, ThanU!

Hi Richman

If you mean that Router B get the IP of 192.168.8.10 from VPN server, and Router B's LAN IP is 192.168.8.2, then I suggest to change the LAN IP of Router B, or change the VPN IP address Pool of Router A. Because they cannot be in the same subnet.

Please make sure that VPN IP pool and Router B's LAN IP are in the different subnets. Router B's LAN IP and Router A's LAN IP are in the different subnets.
