I'm just testing whether it will fit in the upgrade path of the community version. Stay tuned! :-)

@R1D2

Investigating MongoDB 2.6 on a docker image with stretch to make it possible to run with Omada SDN Controller 4.1.5.

But even raspian buster is only running 1:2.4.14-4

So think I have to switch to a ubuntu docker base image.  To be continued...

Anyway updated my docker images to

ronaldo1965/omada-controller:3.2.10-2-lomem

and

ronaldo1965/omada-controller:3.2.10-2

Hello Ronald1965,

to be honest, I am annoyed with the current Debian team, as well as the direction Ubuntu is taking. They are currently more about gender, social justice, political correctness than technology. Not to speak of the systemd fiasco. I don't know what's wrong with them, but they are replacing all kinds of things, and the replacement is not necessarily better.

I suggest you take a look at Devuan (https://devuan.org/).

@Ronald1965 @R2D2

Made a first version of Omada SDN Controller 4.1.5-1 for docker on raspberry pi armhf

Based on ubuntu bionic armhf, mongodb 3.2.22-2 armhf, java jdk 1.8.

As it seems its stable. Migration i did by back and restore configuration. And i was only able to upgrade firmware of my eap225 outdoor manually after restore configuration. But i had to download the firmware from the site.

But looks cool now.

Anyone wanna try it out? Use

ronaldo1965/omada-sdn-controller:latest

instructions will follow in docker but you run it the same as omada-controller. see other posts

Hi Ronald1965,

great, thank you! Maybe you want to add this post also to the SDN Controller thread in the Omada Cloud SDN forum?
