Hi, just new to the forum.

 

Could anyone with the knowledge help me out, I have a T2600G-28MPS POE+ switch deployed in my home, it currently has a few IP Cameras and a few PC's plugged into it, all working fine.

 

I was hoping to deply an Access Point (EAP110) in my back garden as we have no Wifi Signal there, but i would rather not use the POE injector supplied, am i missing something simple here as it wont power up when i plug it into the switch.

 

Notes:

EAP110 Works fine with an Injector

Tested the Switch Port with a Camera and it operates

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for this Questionmark, should of joined the forum and researched it before the purchase, have it running through the injector getting 70mb signal in the Garden.

 

Its more than exceeded expectations.

 

Will take note about the wireless section.
