I am running into some issues getting the omada controller software running on CentOS 7.

I started with CentOS 8, but then learned that jsvc was removed from EL8, so started fresh with EL7. The installation of jsvc and tpeap seemed to install fine, but when the controller software tries to start with /bin/tpeap start, it tries for quite a while then failes. The logs seem to point to an issue with java, is there any special configuration that needs to be done with java?

/opt/tplink/EAPController/logs/startup.log and server.log are attached in one file.
