@schildi, RSSI levels of connected clients are not that good. They range from »okay, but only low traffic services« (≤ -70 dBm) over »not good, packet loss will appear« (≤ -80 dBm) to »unuseable« (≤ -90 dBm). Good RSSI levels are all values from -67 dBm and greater.

Using two CPEs on a directional link over 70m I get a RSSI value of around -41 dBm. For comparison: -70dBm is a 1,000 times weaker signal, -80dBm is a 10,000 times weaker signal and -90 dBm is a 100,000 times weaker signal compared to -40 dBm.

Everything greater or equal -50 dBm is »very good« (100% signal quality), -67 dBm is still »good« (66% signal quality), -70 dBm is »okay« (60% signal quality), while levels smaller than -75 dBm are bad (50% signal quality and worser).
