I have the EAP225 installed and operating on my network. I can access the web interface using the know static IP address of the EAP225. For that same computer, I am attempting to locate it using the discovery device based off advise of tech support, but it finds nothing despite entering the know IP.  He advised I use that since I could not get the AP to show up in the Omada Windows Software Controller.  Not sure what to do from this point.

Hey

 

Seen this issue before and it was the firewall on the PC blocking the access.   Try disabling your firewall and run this again, or open ports as specified here..

  @Philbert Thank you for that info. It was a port forwarding issue due to the computer I am running the controller on being assigned 192.168.1.xxx when the AP is on a network of 192.168.0.xxx.  I had to do some port forwarding on my router to the IP address of the computer with the Software Controller.
