@Fae Hello, I was just posting to say that I have been running firmware EAP653(EU&US)_v1_1.1.0_Build 20230414 (Beta) on my EAP653 for over 30 days now with no issued noticed, with regards to stability via IPv6 or indeed IPv4 connections. Hopefully an official release will come soon. Thanks for looking into this and providing an updated firmware, I had ordered the TP Link AP for my home LAN and had wondered what was happening with my v6 clients.

@Fae I have two EAP670s running stable firmware 1.0.6 and just today I learned about this issue. Interesting that the same notebook where I experimented fails to get address from DHCPv6 in Windows 11 whatever I tried, while rebooted into Linux Ubuntu 22.04 it gets an IPv6 address after 3-5 minutes from boot. Is there any update for EAP670 or is 20221219 build still the most recent with the fix? I am worried about trying Beta firmware because stability is more important for me than IPv6 support. Is there any way I could be notified when stable firmware with IPv6 fix comes out for EAP670?

@Fae I'm having the same issue with a pair of EAP670s I installed in my home and it is extremely infuriating. Both are on firmware 1.0.6 and it takes my devices up to 10 minutes after connecting to receive IPv6 addresses via SLAAC. I don't have anything omada except for access points, I have 3 SSIDs on different VLANs that are all IPv6-enabled and this delay to acquire IPv6 addresses happens on all SSIDs. I am going to return my access points and switch to another vendor if this isn't fixed ASAP.

@Fae Any updates for EAP690E HD?
Quite an expensive unit and no smart home devices or Apple Airprint functionality is working becuase of that.
And looks like that fix been in Beta for quite a while now.
Any plans to put it into the main release?

Hello, I notice that there was new official firmware released for the EAP653 device, located here https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/eap653/v1/#Firmware . Does this official release fix this IPv6 issue? I am running the beta firmware that was posted in this thread earlier this year, but that beta is version 1.1.0 Build 20230414 . The new official firmware is 1.0.9 Build 20230814 (so the new official firmware is a lower build number but a more recent build date?). Let me know, thanks.
