is it possible to set up a second ER605 in Omada?

 

I have two Internet connections on two different floors (ground floor and first floor). They are completely connected by cable.

The network consists of 2x TL-SG2008P and 1x TL-SG2218 switch, 3x ERP653 and 1x ERP610 Outdoor. One connection is already connected to an ER605 and is already connected and set up. On the second connection I have already tried to take an ER605 in operation, but the Omada controller brings me only an error message that he has already registered a gateway.

Network: Controller: OC200, Switch: 2xTL-SG2008P 1xTL-SG3428, Router: ER605, AP´s: 3xERP653 1xERP610 Outdoor Wer Rechtschreb Fehler findet darf sie behalten Who finds spelling mistakes may keep them

You can have two routers on 1 site.You can create a second site and keep it adopted.  

 

But there isnt like a hot swap or a failover for the routers within the controller.

  @KimcheeGUN can i include the VLAN from the second site in the main site? so then i could rout the trafic to the second gateway?

The 2nd floor network is another Internet source right?

 

If you want to link up two Router's LAN, the best solution is to build a site-to-site VPN between these two routers.

  @Somnus yes, in the second floor is the second source.

 

does the VPN connection go in the house internal network between the ER605 router or does the connection go externally over the internet?
