EAP613 showing LAN speed of 100mbs, should be gigabit

My EAP613 is showing it's LAN port speed at 100mps, when it should be 1000mbs. The WAP is connected to a switch and to my router with all cat 6 cables (I also checked with it plugged directly into the router though).
I confirmed the LAN port on the router is set to 1000mbs as well.
Any idea on how to reset the LAN port speed? I've tried a couple reboots of the WAP, of the router, and of course unplugging and replugging everything in a couple times.
Any tips are most appreciated!

@kja393 try connecting another device (laptop for example) in place of the WAP and check it connects at 1000, if not, then you have a cable problem. If it is a smart switch the switch diagnostics maay help too.

The cable is a cat6a, but I did do the terminations myself, so it's possible I messed something up causing it to be limited to 100mbs, but it did pass on my cable tester before I installed it (all the other cables from router to switch and switch to PoE injector are store bought cat 6 patch cables). I'll see if I can rig up a line to my computer from where the WAP cable terminates and check, but I'd be kind of surprised if that was the case.
The switch is an unmanaged one, but I did try and skip the switch and wire the POE injector that goes to the WAP directly to my router and got the same result.
I also sent a message to TP-Link customer support, so if they have a solution I'll be sure to share it here.

@kja393 Ah yes cable tester, I have simple one - jest checks continuity and no shorts across pins. It has passed a couple of cables that refused to do 1Gb, but after redid the plugs, 1Gb worked OK. No idea how that happens

if you dont get the speed of advertising, most likely it's your cable problem. it's super rare to have a bad controller(chipset) in a product. if it fails, usually, you don't even get a connection, just a defective unit.
I've fixed tons of problems with the cable. people spend good money on hardware but ignore the cable.
