I have a question about configuring OpenVPN, specifically how to set it up so that once connected I have access to my entire network. I do not understand how to configure the IP blocks so that when I'm connected remotely it's like I was in my office so my 3D printing software will "see" my printer. I followed this guide (https://www.tp-link.com/ae/support/faq/3632/) but because the third octet is 2 and the LAN is 0, it's cannot see it.

Hi,

try to change Local network to 192.168.0.1

Also, what do you mean by "see my printer"? Is this printer being broadcasted over the net (mdns) and you want to find it on the list? If that's the case then it won't work like this.

That broadcast is not being transferred between the networks (LAN/VPN).

Can you ping the printer's IP while you are connected to vpn?

I did not know how else to describe it. This is the printer connection dialog box in Flashprint:

When I connect with the vpn, I need to be able to find the printer so I can connect to it. Right now I'm not able to find it manually or automatically?

have you tried with 0.1 in OpenVpN server config as mentioned before?

Can you ping that device while connected via vpn?

Auto Scan won't work imo. It has to be configured with IP as you showed.

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Start with the ping to 192.168.0.1 and see if it is pingable.

If yes, that means the VPN is up and running. The routing is also effective.
If you cannot ping the device, you should check if the printer is still using the same IP address you remember. Or set a static one to it.

Configs so far look good.
