Adding a TL-SG105S, 5 Port Gigabit Ethernet Network Switch to an existing Omada based switch
I have a Jetstream 8-Port Gigabit Smart Switch installed but not yet fully configured. This is being controlled by an Omada hardware controller and is connected to a SafeStream Business Gigabit Multi-Wan VPN Router.
I find that I need 2 more switch ports but rather than purchase a 10 (or more) port switch, I'd like to simply add a TL-SG105S, 5 Port switch, linked by cable to the exisitng switch.
Will the new 5 port switch act as an extension to the 8 port switch and still be under control of the Omada controller?

Thanks for posting in our business forum.
This is an unmanaged switch. Plug-and-play, no control at all.
You can cascade them.

I hope that posting in the Business Forum is correct, as Omada seems to be considered as a business product?
Thanks for your reply.
Excuse my ignorance: If I plug the unmanaged switch into a Jetstream port, will it mirror are any settings/restrictions that Omada applies to that Jetstream port?

It does not process any of the packets coming from the Jestream(smart/managed) switch. Just switch, as if it were increasing the physical interfaces(ports).
