Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.3.0 Build 20250428 Rel.18967

I have a ER605 serving a site i want to access using DDNS (noip)..

i configured the Dynamic DNS using NO-IP as service provider..

Status Enabled, Interface WAN1, username, password and Domain Name...

But when i check the updated ip address of my domain name, it's NOT the address shown in WAN IP address...

I get multiple IP addresses... (not EXACTLY THESE actual IP)...

*Controller Connection IP (8.7.19.178)

*No-ip updated IP (8.7.19.241)

*The WAN IP Address (the one that actually allows me to connect to my network) (8.150.254.111)

The ip i get in the noip domain name doesnt connect to my network..

If i manually update noip with the WAN IP Address, then i can connect to my network...

Is there any way i can automate this process...

get the WAN IP address, and then update the noip client!!

I have used NO-IP for over 5 years, it has never failed so I thought it sounded strange. You can try setting the Update Interval to 5 minutes, if you have long Update Interval then it takes the same amount of time to get the IP updated

When you update manually does the correct IP come to the router? have you tried restarting the router? I have NO-IP on all my routers, also ER605v2 routers but they have never failed so it seems strange. how do you log in to NO-IP from the router? do you use the new DDNS Key or the old way with groupname%23adminname, or just NO-IP adminname and password
