Unable to get IPV6 Address

Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.2 Build 20240618 Rel.63827

I am working on getting an IPV6 address from my ISP on my Omada Gateway. I have tried a variety of settings, but am unable to get any address. My ISP provided an NH20A NAH that I have placed into bridge mode (I have also plugged the SFP module directly into my router and still only got an ipv4 address). When initially testing the connection, the NH20A was able to get an IPV6 address.

I have tried a variety of settings in the controller to get an address, but the closest I can get is a link-local address and DNS servers. I have confirmed the ISP prefix delegation size as 56.

If I select 'Automatically', I get nothing.

If I select 'via SLAAC', I get only a link-local Gateway address (fe80).

If I select 'Via DHCPv6',  I get only a link-local Gateway address (fe80).

If I select 'Non-address', I only get DNS Servers ( 2001:568:ff09:10d::74 ).

I have no clue what I am doing wrong, and would love if someone has any troubleshooting steps I could take.

It could be that your ISP does not support IPv6.

Did you test the modem from the ISP? Do you have a non-link-local IPv6 address from its network?

Set it to Non-address, it does not even get an IP, and it at least shows something wrong with the ISP side. If the ISP is hosting the PD, v6 should still be available when selecting the non-address mode.

  @Clive_A Thanks for the assistance.

Before I switch the modem into bridge mode, it was getting both an ipv4 and ipv6 address.

When set to "Non-Address" I do not get an IP Address, but get a Gateway Address that is a link-local (fe80) address and normal looking DNS servers.

You should not get a link local IP anyway if the upstream is on IPv6.

I think something is misconfigured on the upstream router and it is assigning the link local IPs.
