Model: VIGI C440
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.2.1 Build 251218 Rel.67535n

Hi all

I'm running 3x C440 V2 connected to a synology nas. The event detection does no longer work after the firmware upgrade from presumably 2.0 to 2.2 and 2.2.1.

There was no change on the synology side. I've opened a ticket with support but that did not solve the problem.

I did

  • Factory reset
  • enable/disable the detections
  • Change sensitivity
  • Deleted / added zones (was full screen anyway before)

Non of the above did bring back the function. A downgrade of FW is not possible (or at least I have not figured out how).

Does anyone have the same or got it t

@paark I've been instructed by the support to delete and add the camera again.
I've done that last time and it did not work, this time I've added the camera under a new name and it did work.

@Alektrum I have the same problem after updated to 'vigi c340 2.0 2.2.1 build 251218 rel.66582n'. I use 4 Vigi C340 connected to a Synology NAS DS223. I have tried disabling, rebooting, and not yet factory resetting (not gonna try it now after reading your post).

What happen to me is 1. no more event recording and 2. no more event marker one the timeline bar at the bottom of monitor center.
