TL-SG105E V5 - No switch exists in the local area network!
Hello, I just bought the TL-SG105E V5 switch, which came with installed firmware version "TL-SG105E(UN) V5_1.0.0 Build 20220414". I installed the Easy Smart Configuration Utility and I tried to update the firmware with the newer version "TL-SG105E(UN)_V5_1.0.0 Build 20220930" by using the Easy Smart Configuration Utility.
That update failed and after that the switch is not showing up anymore in the Utility. The error message appears: "No switch exists in the local area network!". I reset the switch by pressing reset button on the back but it is still not showing up. However, the devices connected through the switch are accessing the Internet. Right now the TL-SG105E V5 acts like an unmanaged switch. The IP of the switch, as it was given by the DHCP router (from the router's client list), is in the same network with the router. But the Utility still cannot see the switch. WHAT IS THE SOLUTION to reinstate the switch back to its normal operational state?
