I have a tapo plug with an automation set up that switches it off 3 seconds after I switch it on. It has been working for the past year no problems then stopped 2 days ago. Iv tried setting up other automation on other switches but nothing seems to work anymore. Anyone else having issues?

You may want to check your devices' cloud connection -- the remote control capability. If they're disconnected from the cloud, then their associated automation won't take effect. 

 

For the remote control failure issue, please refer to suggestions in this article for troubleshooting, check the case 2. Cannot use the Tapo/Kasa app to control my smart devices
