Hello,

I've got a Python script with which I'm trying to manipulate AP data.

This script runs OK with an old OC200 (2.21.7 Build 20250707 Rel.72486).

This script fails when connecting to a new OC300 (1.34.18 Build 20260506 Rel.79284).

Error is:

{'errorCode': -1505, 'msg': 'The current user does not have permissions to access this site.'}

Strangly, with this new OC300, I can successfully get data from Site List URL (ie /openapi/v1/{OMADAC_ID}/sites?pageSize=1&page=1).

So it seems the credentials I used are correct to query Site data but not AP related data.

How can I authorize my script ?

Best regards

After another round of parameter checking, I did found a copy paste error.

After correcting it, I could get AP details again, as I used to.

Sorry for bothering people with this silly mistake of my own.

Hi  @Oliv2831

Hello! Glad to see you’ve already resolved the issue on your own.

There’s really no need to apologize — this kind of “copy-paste parameter error” is extremely common, and just about every developer has stepped on this landmine at some point. Especially when working with different controller models (OC200 and OC300), it’s very easy to run into permission errors caused by subtle API differences or accidentally pasting the wrong parameter.

The fact that you took the initiative to share your troubleshooting process and solution is very helpful for other users who may encounter similar issues. If you have any further questions while working with the OpenAPI or script integration, feel free to reach out to the community anytime. Wishing you smooth sailing with your project!
