Hi, 

 

Does the MC220L only support optical-fiber SFP to RJ45 conversion, or does it also support passive DAC SFP inputs as well?

The MC220L officially supports fiber optic SFP modules (SX/LX) and RJ45 media converters for optical-to-electrical conversion. It is not recommended — nor is there any official documentation indicating — that passive DAC SFP cables are supported. For stable and reliable deployment, we recommend using standard optical modules instead of DAC cables.
