Issue Description/Phenomenon

Recently we received feedback that some wireless clients (with Lock to AP feature enabled) are not showing in the Clients list of Omada Controller v5.9, even though they are accessible and clearly joined to the WiFi network of Omada EAP. Besides, those missing clients are repeatedly shown up in Insights > Known Clients list, and clicking "Forget" icon will get "General Error".

Before the issue occurs, a complete backup (include all history data such as 30 days) restore has been done on the Omada Controller, while all clients would be listed again after restoring a backup of "Settings Only".

Available Solutions

The issue has been located and will be fixed in the subsequent Controller version.

If you happen to suffer from the issue, you may install the following Beta Controller to fix the issue quickly.

@Fae clicking on the link provided shows "thread deleted". Also checking for firmware update on the controller shows it is up to date despite being a lower version than the one mentioned.

Hi @RickJamesBish,

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry that the new controller release has been withdrawn due to an issue with portal voucher dysfunction. You may stay with the current controller version before the issue has been fixed for release.
