The lab 1 test is simple, it's almost plug and play. But the lab test may be a bit complicated for starters, especially the one who haven't touched GPON OLT configuration before.

 

As I see, TP-LINK OLT is from their ISP brand Aginet. The OLT configuration is very similar as Nokia/HUAWEI, very flexible, but may be difficult if comparing with UBNT OLT. But different people may have a different opinion about this. The good point is that the OLT configuration in standalone mode and Omada Controller managed mode is quite identically. If you can master one of type of configuration, you will know how to config it in the other mode. Hope TP-LINK in future achieve a balance between functionalites and easy-of-use.
