I used to have a satellite background for the device map (I have a small campus), but that has disappeared.  The placement of my devices is still there, I can tell from the physical layout - but the satellite overview is super helpful for placement of new gear.  I must have known how to do it once, but can't find anything searching through the guide.  Also, I'm not talking about uploading a static image for the Heat Map, like a floorplan or anything like that.

Hi  @JustAnotherDave

Sorry, I didn't get it.

Maybe you could mark out the function from the emulator:

  @Vincent-TP

Not sure what you mean by "mark out the function" from the emulator.  From the link you sent, which displays the 'topology' view, switch to the "Device Map" view.  On the emulator, it asks for an API access token.  I must have had one at some point, and somehow that token was set up for a satellite view.  However, something changed in the last couple of weeks (maybe after a controller update, I can't say for sure) and I only have a simple "line map" view.

My question is: is this an API problem?  If I unbind the API Acces Token, are the coordinates for all my placed devices going to be lost?  How do I go about getting a new/different/whatever token?  I cannot find any documentation on how this is supposed to work, and wonder why the functionality isn't just built in.

 Hi @JustAnotherDave

Could you please send a screenshot of the "line map" view page, so we could understand better?

BTW, what's the firmware of your controller? Which API are you using?
