My business can benefit from a multi-WAN failover configuration. I'm currently running a  5 node Deco mesh with the BE95 as the main/gateway router. While the BE95 does not support multi WAN, a multi WAN setup can be configured with routers like the Omada ER605, ER707, or 2.5G Fusion upstream of the BE95 running in Access Point mode. In Access Point mode, there are some features that you lose from the Deco app, most of which I do not care about. But one feature I have used that is lost is client connection alerts. Does anybody know if the Omada control software can "see" client level activity on the Access Point configured Deco mesh network? Before anybody suggests just use an Omada router with Omada access points, it is not feasible to string cable in my business location to where the access points need to be. The BE95 and other TP-Link Deco routers have the strongest wireless backhaul performance on the market. In my business location that's critical and it's been working flawlessly for 2 years. All I want to do is add a second WAN source for failover protection to my existing network.

Hi,  @Mgreer316

Thank you for your reply on the business networking forum.

We regret to inform you that since Deco does not belong to the Omada product series, the Omada Controller is unable to monitor the client activity within the Deco network or provide similar device online/offline notifications for Deco clients.
