New EAP775-Wall Connected to New SG3218XP-M2 V2 will NOT get higher than 100Mb
I bought a new switch and two new wall plates.
New EAP775-Wall Connected to New SG3218XP-M2 V2 will NOT get higher than 100Mb. I started by swapping out my switch and then my old wall plate, which was limited to 1GB. I have tried going normal from my wall into the patch panel, then to the switch. Doesn't work. I have tried POE+ and POE++ ports - still, limited to 100Mb. I have tried troubleshooting by plugging it directly into the switch, using three different cables from different brands including one I hand made and tested - still doesn't go past 100Mb.
I have tested BOTH UNITS. Nothing. Zilch. Stuck at 100MB. All the cables are fine. What gives? I've reprovisioned, forgot device, factory reset them - done everything I can. Even tried manually adjusting the link speed, which just breaks the connection all together..
I was told on Reddit, a user bought 700 for a project and 30 or so had ETH0 with bent pins, a known manufacturing run defect. Is this the case? If so, I'd like to hear from someone on how to proceed, as I'd not want to pay return shipping when this is clearly a defect not due to my fault. I'd just like working units.
