Responding to your request for information on security features, please allow me to make the following comments:

1. The most important security feature is limited access to the camera network.  Using an isolated VLAN and strong Wi-Fi passwords is fundamental.

2. Physical security is important.  The placement of cameras and cabling must keep everything out-of-reach if possible.  Hidden cameras don’t do much if local regulations prohibit their use unless visible signs are posted which essentially defeats the purpose of hiding them in the first place.

3. Storage is a very important feature.  Cameras should have internal storage as well as external storage, such as an NVR.  Cloud storage is ideal for backing up the local site.

4. Electrical power is very important.  Reliable power is fundamental and in critical environments, an UPS should be employed.  Even though they have shortcomings, such as battery life, battery-powered cameras are ideal in some situations, especially if they have 4G/5G connectivity to the cloud.  Should a bad actor cut off all power to the site, recordings can continue.
