Model: TL-SG3452P
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 3.40

I've had two brand new SG345P switches that keep showing Fan Was Error messages.

First one was returned and the replacement has done the same immediately from install.

Any one else had this ?

I'm fairly certain that this is a false report - the device itself never feels hot, it's in a room that's at room temperature (22c during the day, lower at night), it's in a rack so slighty restricted airflow (as opposed to just lying around in an  open room).

It's a pain the send this back again, anyone ever had to switch out the fans on one of these ?

Hi,  @TopBanana

Thank you for posting on the Business Community forum.

When the Fan Error log appears, have you noticed that the switch’s fan has stopped spinning, or does the fan operate normally when the switch temperature rises?

If the fan is still functioning normally and the Fan Error message appears without affecting normal operation, please continue using the device as usual and wait for the next firmware update. Thank you for your understanding.
