Sadly its a very unstable device. After weeks of conversations with the TP-Link support team the only viable solution for me was to return the item to Amazon for a refund.

@Rhing Same here. Several of my nodes keep dropping taking the internet with them. Moving to an outboard modem keeps the internet up but still get various nodes dropping randomly.
