At least the kids are happy and I am not getting pestered to fix the internet every few hours. Can’t get a refund for my TP Link but they will send a replacement. So I will just get rid of it. I won’t sell it on as I don’t want anyone else to go through the crap of working out what’s wrong with their internet.

@jon.brevad I have the same problem. I bought another VR2800 thinking I had a hardware fault on 2.4ghz tx/rx, but the replacement does exactly the same thing. I'll be watching this thread!

 

I shut off the 2.4ghz and hardwired a Netger 1900 extender running as an AP in the hope I would stop the problem. But itks exactly the same. The conclusion is a firmware or software setup error?
