Ive noticed that my Archer VR400 router loses its DLS connection every few hours for about a minute or so. This is extremely troublesome for my PS4 as it stops any updates or downloads over night. I checked my router logs and its been occurring quiet a lot. Below is basically what happens:

The log shows the local network resetting not the DSL going down ?

Or do you also have DSL issues ?

Hello, we need do some troubleshooting to narrow down this issue and try to fix it. 

 

1. What is the light status of the VR300 when it goes offline?

 

2. With your computer or smart phone connected to it at that time, what is the IP address and default gateway it obtained?

3. Meanwhile, please try to access the web page and take a snapshot of the status page.

4. How do you make it back to work after it goes offline?

From the picture attached, the downstream SNR margin is 6.5 only, according to the FAQ below, it may be difficult to synchronize the DSL connection.

You can check the led status of the LED indicators on the VR300 itself, especially the DSL led and internet when it stops working. 

Besides, try to change the DNS server under advanced-network-DHCP server page. Set the primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and secondary DNS as 8.8.4.4. 

 

After that, please test whether it works.

I attached my actual log.
Last month i changed ethernet cable for new one on lan2, it still going down and up.
