Hi,
i have tried to update the Firmware of this Kit.
The Update of the Powerline Firmware TL-PA8010P from 2.0 to 2.6 worked fine;
the update of TL-WPA8630P WLAN Firmware from 1.0.2 to 1.0.4 worked fine
but the Powerline Firmware is still 2.0????
and there are no nvm and pib files on the net????
who knows a Solutionb?

Unplug/replug PCL after update is OK (otherwise it will crash in energy saving mode).

Hi, for the TL-WPA8630P, as an extender, there is no PIB file for it, instead it is a bin file to update the firmware.
If you want to update the firmware of the ethernet powerline unit, you can search the single unit on the official website and get the firmware of it.

hey there is and i found it mine is now running the 2.6.0 if yours is not you should update it this will update the powerline it self not your accesspoint :)

where is the 2.6 powerline firmware please for WPA8630P (V1 UK) ? have tried searching but no luck

here is all of my WPA8630P (EU) kit with pib's
i dont know if this would work for US or UK
big thanks to checker !
you do need to use the UTILITY to reset the powerline after the update or it wont work
when updating the WPA8630P it will say update failed but it will be updated i dont know why !

Hello anybody can explain how to unbrick a WPA8630P V1?
I did use one of the firmwares (2.7.0) in the forum, but it is now bricked (not discoverable, all LEDs on, LED for Connection to the homebase module flashing constantly)
