Well the "next firmware' has come out but there is no mention of this in the change logs , so I guess 3 months wasnt enough for them to add it to this release (?!?)

This issue is really limiting for me. When will the updated firmware be available for the Deco P7?

/Fredrik

Hi all,

The NAT loopback issue has been fixed via the latest firmware.

You can give it a go with QoS disabled to verify the performance.

Any updates, please let us know.

@Iconic

Are you not able to access the local network with the internet IP and port number? Could you please show us a picture of the ping result?

Meanwhile, please ensure that QoS has been setup as standard; try to disable antivirus and remove all the high priority rules.

Any updates, please let us know.

Hello again.

After setting QoS to default, and removing all devices from the high priotity list, the port forwarding has worked as expected for me.

Thanks for the help.

/Fredrik, Deco P7 with January 2019 firmware.

@Kevin_Z

I suffer from this issue on the Deco M9 plus V2. I have spend multiple hours trying to find a workaround for this.

When will the firmware be available for the M9  V2????

I'm really regretting I bought this product.

@Kevin_Z

I've found that loopback works very poorly with high priority settings. Why are these features mutually exclusive? Is there any way to make them work well together?

Without high priority, loopback works as expected. With high priority, it tries to work, but it slows the loopback traffic to such a crawl that it might as well not work at all. It will appropriately resolve the correct LAN IP, but even simple html pages take minutes to load. As soon as I turn high priority off, it's blazing fast again.

Why can't I use both of these features at the same time?
