I cannot use MR3220 with MA180 Modem

Hi,
my MR 3220 cannot manage tp-link Ma180 modem. Could anybody help me?
At start-up it tryes to identify the modem but after a while the status of the modem shows "Unplugged"
I already updated Router Firmware version.
Firmware Version: 3.14.2 Build 120822 Rel.57775n
Hardware Version: MR3220 v2 00000000
Signal strengts is weak but enough to access Internet when Ma180 is connect to my PC.

Its about the signal. If the 3G usb dont have good signal the router says "Unplugged". I have the same problem thease days and i just connect a extention of usb cable and move the 3G usb near to my windows. It was online about 10 hours.
The other solution is to buy a 3G booster and connect it. If the signal is bad everywhere.
Can you please tell me what update do you download?
I have the Mr3220 but when i search in the website it shows me that the mr3220 is the mr3420
