Hi Guys

So i recently bought a TP-LINK TL-PA7020PKIT V2 2 port gigabit passthrough to connect our smart tv and xbox to our Netgear D7000 router.

However when i have plugged them into the ethernet ports it just destroy the network.

Is this a known issue with using these powerline adapters with Netgear modem routers?

Cheers

Hi,

Sorry  to respond late.

As my knowledge, the powerline adapter won't affect the performance of the main router. Could you please tell us more specific symptoms of this problem?

Meanwhile it is suggested to enable Lower PLC-to-VDSL interference mode of the powerline adapters to give it a go.

Here is the download link of the tpPLC utility.

Good day.
