Model: Archer C1200
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: Archer VR600v(DE)_V2_180509

This is the latest firmware (Archer VR600v(DE)_V2_180509) for Germany (https://www.tp-link.com/de/download/Archer-VR600v.html#Firmware).

While all password boxes give you the superb option to either hide or show the passwords, the Wifi password boxes (2.4 and 5 GHz) are missing this option. Unfortunately, the only way to enable only one of them is by calling up that dialog and then everybody standing behind you will see the password(s)!

I'd further suggest adding an option for the Wifi hardware pushbutton. For instance, you could have a simple drop-down box with three options:

* turn on both (2.4 and 5 GHz) when pressing button

* only turn on 2.4 GHz

* only turn on 5 GHz

(where switching off would always turn them all off)

Cheers,

              LC

I agree with the above poster's suggestion, being able to toogle/mask the password that is displayed within the password field in the wireless settings; this would help with improving security.

Hi,

Thanks for your valued reply, we will remind our R&D colleagues and they can work on it and evaluate the feasibility.

You can keep an eye on official website for more details.

Besides, you can use the Tether app to manage the VR600v and change wireless settings.

Below is the download link: https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/archer-vr600v/#Apps

May it help and have a nice day.
