Hi,

What is the hardware version of the C50? You can refer to the instruction below to find it.

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/46/

Meanwhile, may I know why do you want to change the antennas?

Good day.

Hey man! The main reason I want to change the antennas is to get better range. My current router is having a hard time sending signals from one room to another. I wished the process was easier to change the antennas. Please suggest me what I can do to improve the range if my router.

Hi,

we do not suggest you customers to change antennas, cause they work alternately, and the actual performance depends on the network environment as well. While if you still want to change the external antennas on your router/AP to meet your special Wi-Fi requirements, we recommend you to replace all of them with same type of antenna other than change only one of them.

Besides, you can change something to improve the signal strength or wifi coverage area:

1. you can place your wireless device for optimal reception and performance. here is the instruction to do that: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/455/

2. Besides, you can use a clean channel without so many interference.
https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/468/
https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/469/

(Note: we could use the router's WDS function to detect the SSIDs around, and choose a free channel to set.)

Good day.
