I am attempting to set up my W9970 router as a wifi bridge. I managed to get a setup that worked but, once I turned off the router and turned it back on, nothing worked. In addition, my Mac computer detected a number of errors that appear to be IP address related and I suspect that the problem is caused by an incorrect setting of the static IP address of the W9970 router.

The IP address of my main router is 192.168.1.254 and the DHCP range is 192.168.1.64 to 192.168.1.254

What should I set the W9970 static IP address to?

Do you want to connect the TD-W9970 to the main router by wireless to extend the wifi range? If so, you need change the IP address to the same subnet, which is 192.168.1.x, x cannot be 254 (X=64-253)

Meanwhile, below is the instruction to enable WDS bridging function on the router.

May it help and have a nice day.
