I have a range extender from tp link (AC 750, R200).  It worked perfectly for a couple of months, but after a recent "upgrae" of my Linux Mint XFCE operating system  it cannot connect to the Internet, or it does connect, and drops it almost immediately.  The weird thing is that under Windows 10 running on the very same hardware (Yoga 2 Pro) it works just fine, and the same is true for my Samsung S9+ phone (Android 9).  I suspect, therefore, that the "upgrade" had changed something, but I don't know what.  I could not find the little manual that came with the devicee, so I don't know how to reset it.  Unplugging it, or pressing the resset button did not cure the issue.  

I want to continue to love it-- please help!

Hi, 

 

According to your description, the RE200 is working fine, the troubleshooting need to be done on the linux PC instead.

 

While for the RE200, you can try to reset it and reconfigure it, below is the user guide/manual you can refer to :

Note: With it powered on, hold the reset button or hole for 1s to reset it. 

 

Then you can reconfigure the RE200 and ensure the firmware is up to date.

Besides, you can contact the tech support of the linux PC to get some specific help.
