Model: AC50
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

I have 2 powerline TL-PA4022 which worked fine with my TP-Link C50 router providing wifi throughout the rest of our house. They were working fine until I added a TP-Link eap110-outdoor wifi access point. The instant I configured the eap and was receiving an excellent wifi signal 50m from the house, the powerline adaptorsstopped working. There is power to both, but the powerline light is not lit on either. I have tried re-pairing them - nothing happened. I've tried a factory reset - no change. The light for the powerline refuses to light up.

Any ideas please?

Thanks

Hi,

What is the current network topology? Do you connect the EAP110-Outdoor to the powerline adapter or to the main router directly?

To avoid the interference, please connect the EAP110-Outdoor to the main router, bypass the powerline adapters.

Then you can follow the instruction to pair them:

1. Power cycle them and pair them via the pair button. https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/258/

2. Download the tpPLC utility and use it to pair them. https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1615/

3. Or you can create the same network name for both to pair them: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1616/

To do a comparison analysis, you can power off the EAP110-Outdoor and then pair them.

Besides, when and where did you buy it?

Nice day.

Hi

Bothe the eap and the powerlines are connected by their own ethernet cables directly to the router. The loss of connection only occurred when I installed the eap.

I have since taken the powerlines to another room, re-paired them and they now appear go be working.

Thanks

Thanks for your feedback.

Glad to hear that they are working for now.

You can take more time to test its performance. Any updates, just get back to us.
