Hello ,

 

I am new to community , i want to ask about telnet commands usage for W8968, Sorry about model slection in title , this router was not listed in the list so i have to chose another to make it work.

Can any body please eleborate how can i export backup config using telnet ?

 

what is the usage of cfgupdate command and save command?

We cannot export the configuration files via the telnet command. You can login to the web interface of the router and go to system tool-firmware backup/restore page to save it. 

 

Meanwhile, for the cfgupdate, it should be configuration update, you can give it a go and check what it can do.

Thanks for the clarification, about cfgupdate , i think i need a proper command syntax , which is not yet known to me!

So i am asking about cfgupdate full syntax to use it.
