Telnet enabled or disabled by default

Hi, I have TD-W8960N and I'm curious is telnet enabled or disabled by default?

The telnet feature is used to debug for our manufacturer, the feature which can be used by end users is limited, usually, we can use the telnet to access the web UI, no more advanced features.
So please be assured about it.

But can I disable it completly? I'm a little paranoid about security. I heard that telnet is very dangerous because somedoby can get remote access to my router.

The telnet is enabled by default, which cannot be disabled. While the router does not support remote access via telnet.
So you do not have to worry about that, meanwhile, you have disabled the remote management on the web UI.

@HenryCavill Change default password and username then. U need it access via telnet
