Model: Archer VR600
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi - I have a really strange situation ...

I have an Archer VR600 and it is connected via Ethernet (3 separate cables) to:

MacBook Air

Mac Mini

Apple Airport Extreme Router

If I disconnect the MacBook from the LAN then the Mac Mini and Apple Extreme Router lose their connection to the Internet.  The Mac Mini keeps it's IP address.

When I reconnect the MacBook, they both start working again.

Weird !

The Mac Mini works fine over Wireless and can connect to the VR600 with no problem

Any thoughts?

Nick

PS latest firmware is installed

That is strange. Be sure WIFI is off on the MacBook and the MINI. Will it work correctly if you power down the router connect only the mini and the Airport then power it up without the MacBook?
