Newly purchased PS110U to bypass faulty network interface in Epson WF-3530. Printer functionality okay but the Epson Scan software "cannot communicate with scanner"
IP address of the PS110U is correct and static on my LAN (e.g. 192.168...)
PS110U is pingable and has been set up to match the IP range of my network. Setup info saved in PS110U and survives reboots.
Printer / scanner is turned on
Operating system is Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and patched up to date
Epson scanner software has been "run as administrator" without any improvement.
Assuming this is a port problem, for example port 9100 is used for printing but what is used for scanner communications and will the PS110U support this / those ports?
