The antenna radiation pattern is confidential which is not available for end users.
While as an indoor range extender, the wifi coverage area of the RE650 is about 15-20meters, if you want to extend the wifi outside, you can consider the outdoor access point. Like EAP110-outdoor EAP225-outdoor.
OK. Thank you. I plan to buy an EAP110. I contacted customer support today and they assure me that I cann conenct that unit to any working AP on my network. I hope so, as the location of the AEP110 is too far away to be physically linked to the router (it is not so much distance as I live in a Listed house and cannot put wires wherever I want to).

Do you plan to buy EAP110 or EAP110-Outdoor? Both can connect to an existing network by wired cable to extend internet. While the former one is an indoor access point, the latter one is outdoor one.
