A few months ago I started noticing some intermittent network lag on my home wifi. Although not always obvious while surfing the web, games and video chats for work would randomly lag seriously and sometimes time out completely. Due to the intermittent nature of the problem though it was very difficult for me to identify the exact problem.
Eventually after reviewing my network traffic and router logs it occured to me that there may have been too many devices connected to my main wifi router. So during the recent Amazon prime sale I picked up a second router. I setup a seconday SSID, hard wired the second router into the first and connected all my smart devices to it (7 kasa bulbs, 6 kasa plugs, 2 kasa power strips, and 3 echos). After a dhcp flush and reboot of the primary router that is still connected to the main devices (laptops, phones, firesticks, etc) the network issues were completely gone. Using the secondary router as a 'smart hub' has worked great. If you use a lot of smart devices and notice network slow downs you might want to try it out! https://solitaire.onl/ https://9apps.ooo/ https://bluestacks.vip/
