Hi all,
before purchasing Archer C6, I would like to know:
- if there is the possibility to set ONLY Wifi off (not connections via LAN) on certain hours (i.e. Wifi turned off frm 11pm to 7am)
- if Archer C6 is compatible with tether APP

Hello, sorry to tell you that the Archer C6 does not support wifi schedule yet. While Archer C6 V2 supports Tether app.

Meanwhile, it supports reboot schedule, you can regard it as a workaround; but once it is powered off, there is no internet neither from wireless, nor from wired cable.
Or you can press the wifi button on the back to turn on/off the wifi feature manually.
Besides, for the request to add wifi schedule, we have noted that and will remind our R&D colleagues.
They will work on it and evaluate the feasibility.

We can turn WiFi off via Tether app, but to use the Tether app, we need keep at least one wireless network enabled.
You will also see this message when you try to disable both wireless networks.

Hello, I have upgraded firmware on this router to the October 2019 version (1.2.0 Build 20191014 rel.33289(4555)), hoping that it would include this new feature - based on the comment in this string that this would be passed on to TP Link's R&D... Can we expect that it would be included in the next version of firmware then PLEASE? Thank you.

Can we know when this option it will be officially included, due the fact that it is a very important feature in order to live in an healthy environment?
Having my WIFI always turned ON is a bit worrying, especially when I'm sleeping.
Please let us know as soon as possible, since this Archer C6 V2.0 EU is one of the most popular wifi router in the world, and my concern will be the concern of many other users.
