Model: Archer A2300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.0.3 Build 20180611 Rel. 77668

Internet connection, 175mbps down, 25mbps up, fiber.

Majority of devices connected wired, with a small number wireless.

My previous router died and based on reviews from both review sites and consumers I picked up the Archer c2300.  I have noticed some strange behavior. On the old router uploading to YouTube was around 20 to 24mbps, using the Archer c2300 I'm getting 8.1mbps and its a very stable 8.1. Downloading from a fast source, such as Steam, on the old router started slow but got up to 150 to 170mbps, the Archer c2300 also starts slow but only gets up to 100.5 Mbps and stays there, and is quite stable.  BitTorrent downloads with the old router quickly got up to 170mbps and stayed there, the Archer c2300 gets to 100.5mbps and stays there.

I have contacted my ISP and they have confirmed they have not started throttling since I got my Archer c2300.  Speedtest.net tests 172 down and 24 up, actual usage seems to be limited to 100.5 down and 8.1 up and unusually stable, no fluctuations.

I have a feeling this is a QOS issue, however there seems to be no way to turn off QOS, unless I'm missing it.

@Dargaard

For your information, there is no toggle to turn on/off the QoS anymore, while please try to setup application priority as standard and disable device priority.

With computer connected to the C2300, please run the speed test for 3 times and show us the screenshots.

In the meantime, try to enable the P2P download and test the actual speed; do not forget to verify it wired/wireless negotiation speed as well.

Besides, try to select streaming as high priority to give it a shot.

Good day.

I have spend the better part of the day doing tests, taking screen shots, and changing settings.  I started by plugging a computer directely into my ISPs Optical network terminal, and everything was super fast, except uploading to YouTube, which was 8.1mpbs.  I then started with one device at a time checking settings and doing tests.  I now have everything working as I had before changing routers except uploading to YouTube.  There were some firewall settings on the computer causing issues, and some ports I had forgot to open on the router.  So I'm going to say this problem is solved.  I'm thinking YouTube or my ISP (they say they arn't) are throttling my YouTube uploads.  I took screen shots but I don't think there is any need to post them now.
