@Guillaume_1978

I do have the packaging but they didnt ask for it. I just explained what was going on and they didnt even hesitate. They just said we have refunded you already and send back the router after the Covid crysis. Thats it. Amazon has incredible customer service. Just go to your orders, Find your router and hit the contact button. Sad though because out of every Router I have tried. From Nighthawk netgear to Asus. Around 7-8 different Crazy expensive ones the TP did the best job. Sad that I cannot keep it really. Thing was a beast when it worked.

I had the exact same issue. Router disconnecting from internet 5-10 times per day. Only way to get it back up again was to do a reset.

I bought another router from Asus, and got the same issue. But the difference was that the Asus did a reset automatically when loosing the internet connection and was back up again within a minute. So the issue seemed to be with my connection. I also have a Xiaomi Mi home automation hub which is running zigbee protocol, which I read can interfere with wifi signal. I switched this off and haven't had any issues with the internet connection in about a week.

@Kevin_Z

My MR400 disconnects from internet a few moments from startup and reconnects only occasionally.

Hardware version: Archer MR400 v3 00000001

S/N 218CB35000736

Firmware version: 1.12.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 190730 RC.59984n

Please find logfile attached. I have made the following steps:

  • The router has been factory reset.
  • Tests have been made in areas with better signal than my home.
  • I have tested with another sim card
  • Sim card works well in my cellphone

@Aman123

Hello,

Please upgrade the firmware to the latest version:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/1667/

When it drops the Internet connection, did you check if the 4G  band changed at this time?

Thank you for your cooperation!
