ISP is providing close to contract download speeds at around 18 mbps.
Deco wireless gives around 7 mbps with just a laptop and iphone connected. Wired connection through the Deco is just 3 mbps.
FIrmware is up to date. There are 3 units in the house. I have tested these speeds with all other devices blacklisted, before that the speeds were slightly worse.
How do I get reasonable wifi and wired download speeds through Deco?

Well, having the same issue...
At least I am not alone with this.
Have to say when first installed, as a router - I had about 300-350 Mbit WiFi out of 500Mbit bandwith available .
Since then (1 month) I went down to 1-3Mbit and finally switched to AccessPoint mode.
No even this mode is getting bad connectivity...

@Diccon I too had same problem but after disabling Deco's antivirus - am getting proper speed.

I also have a same problem, the wifi connection become unstable for the last 3 weeks. Before, it was really good. I think because of the latest firmware bug? Since everyone in this forum got the same problem for this month?

Have you already noticed that some devices would not connect to the closet Deco?
And how many devices connected to the Deco system?
Would there be some heavy network activities when the speed slow down?
Have you ever considered connecting back the Archer C6 and setting up Decos as access point to extend the Wi-Fi coverage?

@Sanjeev_Chavhan I am super frustrated too!! 4 units deco giving this bad speed issue. I tried using anothe cheap Tenda and it works fine. Now thinking how to dispose all the M5 units. switch to cheaper tenda is better!!

Deco 1: main, connected to router, gives 400mbps
Deco 2: gives only 20mbps !!??
What is wrong? Everything is default. I tried reset everything. Remains the same.

Hi, Could you please do me a favor and start a new thread about your case with the following information:
1.Can I have a picture of the network topology of the Mesh system, such as how are the Deco units connected to each other?
2. Could you please help me test the Ethernet speed from Deco 2?
3. Is the 20m/s from 2.4ghz or 5ghz?
