Deco M9 Plus V2 problem

I have an issue with the Deco M9 Plus V2.
Story: I bought a set of 3 Deco M9 Plus V1 and they works fine with the app. I wanted to expand my network and bought a new set of 3 Deco M9 Plus.
They new Decos turned out to be Deco M9 Plus V2. No problem connecting the new Decos in the app.
Now to my issue:
The M9 Plus V2 does not look the same as my Deco V1 in the app. I can´t see what devices are connected to the V2.
Even a iMac connected directly to LAN doesn´t show up, but internet works. Even less if there are wireless devices connected.
I want full control of my network. I believe it should work, it said so on the package.
What can we do to solve my problem?

1.3.0 Build 20190821 Rel. 54023
I only set up one of the units, the other din't even make it out of the box!!!
Thats what I remember it said anyway. Checking the firmwares available on the tplink site, that is whats showing for V1.x hardware.

hi there I have the same problem . Bought the deco m9 to add to my other m5 and it turns out if v2 so lost functionality on app. See you seem to have solved but don't understand how to download that file to the deco app. Could you explain how would do that? Thanks for help

I am seconding the remarks before, it is ridiculous that we don't get upgrades on V2 where the V1 units are upgraded.
It is even more ridiculous that there is no response from support anymore in this thread

@Toppie does the web UI actually work for you with this new firmware? I've just successfully upgraded mine (3x V2) but trying to enter the main Deco's IP address in the browser still doesn't return anything.

@SrDarkWarrior I just got my V2 today from Costco. I had M5's and the new M9's doubled my throughput from the remote devices. Now is see all the complaints about updates and I noticed all the features I lost from the older M5's.
So is the1.4 beta software closet to being released? I got updates to the M5's every 8 weeks or so. The 1.2.12 20191014 software I have now is dated 8 months ago.
I have downloaded the 1.4 firmware and the tool but I would rather use the app like I did with the M5 and run supported firmware

I have the same situation. I had Deco M5 (x3) and now I have also bought Deco M9 Plus V2 (x3). They work great all together but I have lost M5's basic features.
Can anyone at tp-link (@TP-Link_Deco or @Kevin_Z) provide an estimation on the official realease of the new firmware for M9 Plus V2? Are we talking about days, weeks or months?
